Movement of the Mind, Film Book

Robert Cohan on Film: His work, in his words.

Thanks to support from the Abderrahim Crickmay Charitable Settlement, we are excited to begin work on the first few chapters of Movement of the Mind, our film-book conceived with Robert Cohan during the pandemic.

This exceptional, visual journey into dance, narrated by Robert Cohan, is an important part of our dance heritage. Not only is it an essential resource for libraries and universities, it is also an art book bringing movement to life through Cohan’s words.

Movement of the Mind has the support of the British Library who will archive the work as part of their Drama and Literature Recordings, Sound and Vision Collection.

“Our dance world was made better, richer and knew greatness because of Cohan.”
Clement Crisp
